1833 H10C MS65 PCGS.
1833<H10C> MS65 PCGS. V-1, LM-10, R.1. This is the most common die marriage for 1833. The 8 and 3 in the date are very close to each other at the top. Both loops of the second S in STATES are filled on this third and final use of the reverse die. There is a long die crack on the obverse from the rim to the cap, through B in LIBERTY, through the curl and ear and across the cheek to the neck and to the drapery. Good strike for the variety, with the stars being especially detailed and sharp. This specimen is toned a medium gray, with mottled colored toning in shades of blue, reddish-orange and green on the obverse. The reverse is mostly medium gray, with a touch of blue on the upper rim and mottled reddish-gold throughout.

Important
