<B>1833<H10C> MS65 NGC.</B></I> V-6, LM-9, R.2. This specimen was struck from a die that was lapped in an attempt to remove clash marks, part of which is still visible in the field opposite Liberty's face and neck. The strike shows the typical weakness on the curls below LIBERT and the inside of the eagle's left wing. A tiny die crack connects stars 3 and 4 and there is a crack from the outside points of stars 4 and 5 to the rim over star 6. There is another die crack from the top of the obverse rim through Liberty's cap continuing to the L in LIBERTY. This appealing specimen is bright and lustrous, with tinges of gold at the rims.
