1833 25C MS63 PCGS. Ex: Eliasberg. B-2, R.3. Two die marriages are known for this date, distinguished by the presence or absence of a period after 25 C. The B-2 variety has no period. Light gray toning is accented with dappled olive-green at the obverse border, and with cobalt-blue throughout portions of the reverse. A well executed strike has imparted strong detail to the design elements, save for minor softness in a couple of the star centers. Clash marks from the reverse shield are observed in the central part of the obverse, and some minute die rust pimples are located around portions of the obverse border. A sharp coin for the grade designation, and a great pedigree. Population: 11 in 63, 6 finer (2/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
