1833 $2 1/2 --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. Unc Details. Breen-6136, BD-1, R.5. Every quarter eagle issue from 1829 through 1834 (With Motto) has a mintage within the range of 3,403 coins and 4,540 coins. In the case of 1833, production totaled 4,160 pieces. With slight variance, each of these issues are known to the extent of about 100 coins, although John Dannreuther estimated 60 to 80 pieces known for this date. This piece is sharply detailed with slightly reflective fields and finely abraded surfaces. Both sides have bright yellow-gold color. It is an excellent candidate for the date or type collector, and only infrequently offered in any quality.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
