1832 H10C MS66 PCGS. V-1, LM-3, R.1. C shows over a ho
<B>1832<H10C> MS66 PCGS.</B></I> V-1, LM-3, R.1. C shows over a horizontal C in AMERICA, and the second T in STATES is centered above the left upright of the second U in PLURIBUS. This variety was not known to Valentine, probably because of its scarcity and its similarity to V-3, LM-2, which shares the same reverse die. The obverse die is also identified by the location of the first star, which is very close to a dentil. Lightly toned in mottled blue-gray hues on the obverse, this lustrous premium Gem has remarkably smooth surfaces, and is limited in grade only by moderate striking softness on the curls near the ear and on the left border of the shield, as usual for the variety. Population: 39 in 66, 7 finer (7/06).
