1832<10C> MS64 PCGS. JR-5, R.2. Stars 12 and 13 are widely spaced, and the digit 3 in the date leans left. One point of star 13 is close to the hair curl. Numerous diagnostic die cracks also aid attribution. This is a bright, glittering near-Gem of this fairly available variety, and apparently one of the finest that we have offered since we began maintaining our online auction archives. The silvery surfaces are untoned, and a bit of light obverse field chatter and a few light, grade-consistent abrasions are the only mentionable impairments. Much prooflikeness is visible, more prominently on the reverse, and the devices are thick with mint frost. A superior piece, destined for a high-grade type or specialist's set.
