1831 N-3 R1 Medium Letters, PCGS graded MS64+ Brown, CAC ApprovedLustrous light steel brown with subtle overtones of light bluish steel. Hints of faded mint color are bleeding through the delicate toning on both sides. Satiny mint frost covers the planchet and this cent has great eye appeal. The only marks, and they are barely visible, are a couple of small spots of lighter reddish tan toning at the ear and in the hair below plus a tiny rim nick at the bottom of the reverse. MDS. Called MS62 and CC#9 in the Noyes census, his photo #56022. Our grade is MS63.Certificate Number: 36997.64+25137670Pedigree: Ex Chris McCawley FPL #69, 1/2002-Paul Gerrie, McCawley & Grellman Auctions/Goldbergs 5/27/2012:33-Harry Laibstain 2013-Terry S.
