1831 H10C MS66 PCGS. V-2, LM-3, R.4. Star 7 points to the upper part of the headband, and the right edge of the second 1 in the date is centered over a dentil on the obverse, while the UN of UNITED touch at the top, and the tip of the arrow feather is right of center of the flag of 5 on the reverse. Logan and McCloskey (1998) write that this is the third and final use of Obverse 1, which shows a series of die cracks at most of the stars, and from the curl through stars 12 and 13 to the rim. Lustrous, mostly brilliant surfaces exhibit just a wisp or two of light tan-red color, and are nicely preserved. A well executed strike has imparted good definition on the design elements. Population: 36 in 66, 0 finer (3/07).
From The Palakika Collection.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
