<B>1831 25C Small Letters MS63 NGC.</B></I> B-1, R.3. An early obverse die state, with no die rust near the date. The reverse die state is somewhat more advanced, as spindly die cracks through the lettering encircle the design. This is a slate-gray coin with a high degree of luster. A few contact marks are noticeable, none of which individually distract.
