<B>1831 25C Small Letters AU58 NGC.</B></I> B-4, R.1. A later die state of this variety, with a die crack through the C of the denomination to the stem above. Satiny and still somewhat lustrous, with untoned silver-gray surfaces that are pleasantly free of distracting marks. Wispy hairlines appear on each side, and a handful of minor field marks and pinscratches are noted.
