1827 N-1 R2. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. An attractive cent with excellent luster and eye appeal. A couple long, thin nicks in the field over star 1 are the only marks. Frosty dark steel brown and chocolate with attractive flowline luster covering the fields and protected areas. Just a very light touch of friction on the highest points from mint state. MDS with fine radial die flowlines in the obverse fields but before any crumbling in the dentils at stars 5-6. Called AU55 net AU50 and tied for CC#6 in the Noyes census, his photo #25379. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS63BN (NGC label included). Our grade is AU55. Pop 1; 2 in 64. Only 3 coins graded at PCGS for the variety. DWH #2599 (PCGS # 36838) .
