<B>1827 50C Square Base 2 MS65 NGC.</B></I> O-121, R.3. For the 1827 half dollar coinage alone, 34 different reverse dies were used, yet only five of these have the final A touching the adjacent arrowhead. This example is a frosty Gem with subdued gray-gold color on the obverse and brilliant ivory on the reverse. Both sides are framed by light gold toning near the borders. Slight weakness of the details at the upper obverse and lower reverse are typical.
