1827 10C MS64 PCGS. JR-11, R.2. The obverse and reverse dies used to produce examples of the JR-11 die marriage were used only once during Capped Bust Dime production in 1827. A generous amount of lavender-gray toning overlays satiny surfaces. The otherwise bold strike wanes in a few areas, most notably on the reverse over the shield. There are expectantly few distractions for the assigned grade, but a pair of pinscratches in the left obverse field are noted. Perfect for inclusion in a type set of near-Gems.
