At the same time, it is tied for the finest 1826 half dollar of any variety that NGC has certified.<BR> It is sharply struck with intricate design details on both sides. The luster is bold and vivid, with reflective reverse fields. A sensational example with exquisite surfaces that are matched by the beautiful rainbow appearance. Both sides have central ivory and gold, surrounded by peripheral blue, lilac, and iridescent toning.
