1826/5<1C> N-8, R.2. AU58 NGC. VF30 EAC. Even though this is not a particularly scarce variety, it's status as a major Guide Book variety places increased demand on those that come on the market. For the cherrypicker, who wants to try finding an unattributed example, simply look at the relationship between star 6 and the coronet tip. The overdate is the only 1826 variety with star 6 pointing clearly left of the coronet tip. This example is somewhat bluntly struck. The surfaces have intermingled golden-brown and olive color with splashes of steel and tan on both sides.
Ex: George Ramont (2/24/1970). Envelope Included.
