<B>1825 50C VF35 NGC.</B></I> Ex: Jules Reiver Collection. O-109, R.5. The second-rarest variety for the date, behind only the nearly uncollectible O-118. The attribution is unmistakable, with the key diagnostics of the curl in the 2 pointing toward the I in Liberty, while on the reverse A and T in STATES are nearly joined and I in PLURIBUS lies directly under the juncture. The A's are all extra large. The present example has original gray toning, with lighter silver highpoints and muted mint luster still present in some protected areas.
