Very attractive glossy chocolate brown with lighter chocolate toning in protected areas on the lower half of the obverse. Frosty mint luster covers the protected areas on both sides. No spots or stains, and the only mark visible with the aid of a good glass is a tiny pinprick in the field under the hairbun. Sharply struck MDS, and the overdate is strong. A premium example of this popular overdate variety. EAC grade EF40+, close to EF45 and nearly choice as well.
