<B>1824/2 25C VF25 PCGS.</B></I> B-1, R.3. Deep steel-gray and medium brown shades envelop this surprisingly bold example. Moderate marks are found near the bust tip, cap, and right scroll end. The 1824/2 is a decidedly better date, and provides excellent value relative to the 1815/2 half dollar, which was also produced from a single die pair.
