1823 50C MS64 PCGS. O-106a, R.2. This variety is related to the better known Patched 3 (O-101a) and Ugly 3 (O-110a), but Overton failed to bestow such a colorful nickname on the O-106a. He suspected a die chip may have caused the crude central appearance on the 3. This lustrous golden-gray near-Gem is well struck despite a couple of soft star centers, and both sides are smooth save for a few small marks above the left (facing) wing. Population: 35 in 64, 5 finer (3/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
