1822 N-10 R2 PCGS graded MS64 Red & BrownLustrous light steel brown and tan with slightly faded mint red covering 15% of both sides. A swipe of lighter reddish tan toning at F-A and a spot of very fine carbon touching the left side of the I in AMERICA are the notable marks. LDS, die state b. Most of the inner circle is gone but portions at stars 1-3 are still visible. This is the Newcomb plate coin for the variety (Plate III for obverse 10, Plate IV for reverse I).
