1821 N-2 R1 PCGS graded MS64RB. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. Frosty bright mint red with steel brown toning on the highpoints, the toning strongest on the cheek but lighter elsewhere. A half dozen tiny specks of dark toning around ON in ONE and at the left top of T in CENT are the only notable marks. Nicely struck EDS with a clear die line extending from the bust tip into the field right of star 1. Called MS65 and tied for CC#1 honors in the Bland census. Noyes says MS63 and tied for CC#1, his photo #20777. Ted's note on his envelope states "The brightest of the '21 group of 7 sold 10/1/81 as Long Beach II by NERC." Our grade is MS64.
