<B>1821 Coasters' Manifest for the Sloop </B></I><B><I>Macdonough</B></I></B></I>. Two pages, 13.25" x 8.25", April 30, 1821, Boston, endorsed by Thomas Mellvill (1751-1832), a participant in the Boston Tea Party and grandfather of Herman Melville. A manifest for the Sloop Macdonough commanded by Ezra Lewis, based in Boston with a load of various items bound for New York harbor. The document is slightly ragged around the edges with some toning and the usual fold creases.
