This is a exceptional early English Rococo Revival fluted hand painted dessert platter tray. Circa 1820's. It looks like Old Pris porcelain. It is handsomely painted in the center with a beautiful rose and rose bud. The grand color is gray with yellow flowers and gold gilt details on top of the ground color. On ether end are pierced Rococo branch handles with gold gilt highlights. The condition is good with only two small chips under the rim on this platter that can not be seen from above. The platter is not marked but could be by Ridgway, Nantgarw, Davenport, Minton, Spode or New Hall. 11" by 8" 1/2.
