TITANIC (1997) - "S.S. Titanic" Lifeboat Nameplate - An "S.S. Titanic" lifeboat nameplate from James Cameron's Titanic. In the climactic finale, passengers on the doomed Titanic fled to the ship's lifeboats. The lifeboats' nameplates were created as set decoration by the teams overseen by art director Peter Lamont and set decorator Michael Ford, who won a joint Academy Award& reg; for their work.

This cast resin nameplate is engraved "S.S. Titanic" in raised black block letters and textured on front. It features two holes on either end for screwing to a lifeboat, and its reverse features a glossy white finish. The nameplate exhibits discoloration around its lettering, flaking paint on the back, exposed resin, and staining from exposure to liquid. Dimensions: 13.5" x 1.75" x 0.5" (34.5 cm x 4.5 cm x 1.5 cm)

Estimate: $5,000 - 10,000
