<B>1820 North West Company Token, Breton 925, VG10 Uncertified.</B></I> This is a very scarce token, more than likely struck in Great Britain for the U.S. and Canadian market. The majority of these tokens have turned up in the northwestern United States, around the region of the lower Columbian River valley in Oregon. Most of the tokens appear to have been buried at one time, as this piece may have been. This is a piece in typical condition; higher grades command lofty prices at auction.
