1820 N-9 R3 Large Date EF45Frosty olive and chocolate brown with attractive flowline luster covering the fields and protected areas. The surfaces are satiny and this cent has really nice eye appeal. The only marks are a few small splashes of lighter brown toning around stars 4 & 5, a tiny nick over the nostril, and a microscopic horizontal hairline scratch under ONE. Rare LDS, die state d, with three fine die cracks on the obverse. Die cracks are visible from the bust to the left top of the 8, from the bust tip into the field towards star 1, and a relatively strong one from the chin into the field towards star 1. The repunching under the T in CENT is weak but still visible. Called EF45 net EF40 and tied for CC#4 in the Noyes census, his photo #38478.Certificate Number: Pedigree: Ex 1997 EAC Sale, lot 215-1999 EAC Sale, lot 418-Stuart A.
