<B>1820 50C No Serifs on Es--Tooled, Cleaned--ANACS. AU50 Details.</B></I> O-107, R.5. This distinctive Large Date variety was struck from letter punches on the reverse with the left serifs of the E's and the right serifs of the A's missing. Medium gray toning overall with some reddish-plum accents on each side. Die clash marks are evident on the obverse, along with faint tooling marks.
