Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Colima, ca. 200 BC - 200 AD. A very-well detailed seated redware pottery warrior, he wears his Shaman rank (the horn) on his forehead head tilted as if in a pose. A large blade rests on his lap and wears draped cloth at his back. The piece is perfectly stone-polished to a glass-like surface. Manganese and dendrite deposits on surface.
