1819/8 N-1 R1 PCGS graded MS65BN. PCGS graded MS-65 Brown. Overdate 9 over 8. Highly lustrous bluish steel brown with traces of faded mint color on the obverse and 25% of the slightly faded mint red remaining on the reverse. Virtually flawless, a small spot of dark toning at the top of the O in ONE being the only notable mark. Satiny mint frost covers both sides and the eye appeal is outstanding. MDS. The 9/8 overdate feature is clear. Called MS65 and tied for CC#1 in the Bland census. Noyes says MS63 choice and tied for CC#1, his photo #20629. Our grade is MS64+, close to MS65.
