This piece appears to be similar in quality to two Choice Mint State examples in the Queller Collection, pieces that were described as high in the Condition Census. Being slightly more conservative than the cataloger for that sale, we submit that this example <I>may</B></I> qualify for the Census of the O-113 die marriage. This Select Mint State piece has frosty silver luster with speckled gold and peripheral steel toning. Struck from perfect dies, this example exhibits no evidence of die cracks, clashmarks, or other signs of die wear. Although slight strike weakness is evident in the usual locations, including the hair curls on the obverse and the top of the wing on the reverse.
