1818 N-5 R3 PCGS graded MS62 Brown, CAC ApprovedThe obverse is glossy dark steel brown and chocolate with frosty light steel brown toning in the protected areas. The reverse is mostly frosty tan and light steel brown with darker steel brown toning on the highpoints and hints of very faded mint color peeking through in a few places. The surfaces are smooth and this cent has excellent eye appeal. Just a few trivial contact marks including a small nick in the center of the neck and a pair of tiny ticks close under the first 8 in the date. MDS, die state b, with clear die cracks through stars 1-3 nearly reaching star 4 plus another die crack connecting stars 10-12.
