Half Dollars 1818 Overton-111. NGC graded Mint State 64. <b>Dappled with golden russet and medium gray toning, with glowing luster that seems eager to jump out to greet you. A superlative specimen in its conservative grade, one whose hair curls are delightful to view under magnification. Like Liberty, the eagle offers a wealth of detail in its sparkling radiance and bold sharp relief. A rather common variety (Rarity-1 in Overton), this obverse has a small spike at the top of Liberty's cap; the second 1 is slimmer than the first.
