<B>1818 50C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> O-111, R.1. A tiny spike or point at the peak of Liberty's cap immediately identifies the obverse of this common die marriage. This frosty near-Gem is a contender for high Condition Census honors with only two or three clearly finer examples known. Both sides have lustrous ivory surfaces with hints of peripheral gold toning. A couple darker toning spots on the reverse should assist the pedigree researcher.
