<B>1815/2 50C --Improperly Cleaned--NCS. VF Details.</B></I> O-101, R.2. One set of dies were employed to produce an estimated 47,150 halves dated 1815, the only year in the Bust Half series comprised of but one variety. The NCS label should read "Lightly Cleaned" instead of "Improperly Cleaned," as this example is much better than the usually encountered 1815 half in a problem slab. Lacking any major distractions, this coin does reveal some light hairlines when studied closely.
