1813 50C MS66 NGC. O-103, R.2. A tiny die chip on the upper edge of the left (facing) wing quickly identifies this die marriage. Light clash marks are visible on each side, much as they are on nearly all 1813 half dollar varieties. This piece was previously offered in Superior's January 2004 "Pre-FUN" auction where it failed to find a buyer. This Gem example, probably the finest known for the variety and one of the best for the date, has sharp details with satiny luster beneath an intermingled display of golden-rose, cobalt-blue, and steel gray color. Census: 7 in 66, 1 finer (1/07).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
