Sharpness near EF45 with fine to moderate roughness under mostly glossy dark chocolate and olive brown toning. The roughness is strongest on the reverse where traces of verdigris can be found using a glass, and some of the verdigris was removed. The obverse looks smooth to the unaided eye, and the eye appeal of this piece is nice. The only notable contact mark is a horizontal nick on the curl at the bottom of the neck. Nicely struck EDS, Manley state 1.0, with the reverse rotated 15 degrees CW. A sharp example of this tough date.
