<B>1811/10 50C MS64 PCGS.</B></I> O-101, R.1. This overdate variety is perhaps more commonly referred to as the "punctuated date" because of the distinct dot between the 8 and the second 1 in the date. On later die states, as with this Choice example, die lapping removes much of the evidence of the underlying 0. The strike is generally very sharp, the only deviation being Liberty's highest curls and the stars to her left. Both sides are draped in attractive blue and golden toning. It has been nearly eight years since we last offered an 1811/0 half of this caliber and it should rank in the mid to lower range of Condition Census.
