1810-99 Mexican Army Elk Bone Handle Sword, marked PDL for the sword manufacturer, Paul D. Juneschioss, located in Solingen, Germany. Almost all the Mexican Swords from the mid 1800's were German made. The sword measures 37'' with a 31.5'' blade. Handle is antique Elk bone and measures approx. 4''L. It is quite unusual to find a full length Mexican Army Sword as the Mexican Army tended to shorten their swords for comfort.
