1810 50C MS64 NGC. O-102, R.1. An interesting, common variety from 1810 that shows an extra point on star 12 and the T in UNITED cut over a much lower T. Exceptionally well defined in all areas except the top of the eagle's left (facing) wing--an area that may be weak on all since the Overton plate coin also shows weakness in this area. Brilliant with dazzling mint luster. While it is always tricky trying to establish Condition Census ranking on Bust halves without a list of specific coins, we can at least say that this is one of the finest O-102s sold in recent years. An MS65 was in the Byers' auction and sold for $12,650 in October 2006.

Coin Engraver: John Reich

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
