1809 50C MS63 PCGS. O-102a, R.1. The scalloped star 13 is the signature of Mint Engraver John Reich, who served from 1807 to 1817 with no raise in pay. That star is close to the curl. Liberty's mouth is slightly open. On the reverse a row of segments is clash beneath the scroll. A die crack connects the 180 in the date, another runs from the top of the 1 through the bust and into the left-side stars, and a third connects the tops of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. This beautiful and well-struck piece offers amber-gold patina in the centers with ice-blue at the rims.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
