1809 50C --Cleaned--ANACS. AU50 Details. O-104, Low R.5. An important Bust half dollar variety attributed by a scalloped point toward curl on star 13, a die line close to star 5 near the inner point, and a vertical die line just inside shield border at the left side of the lower crossbars. Silver-colored surfaces on the obverse are framed by cobalt-blue, lavender, and golden brown toning around the borders, while the reverse is mostly silver-gray with lightly toned borders. The design elements exhibit excellent detail, except for the usual weakness in the eagle's upper right (left facing) wing. Magnification reveals fine hairlines, otherwise both faces are devoid of mentionable marks. The Bust half aficionado will not be displeased, the light cleaning notwithstanding.

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
