1808 C-3 R1. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. Lustrous tan and light steel brown with darker steel toning on the highpoints and golden tan faded down from mint color in protected areas. A spot of reddish brown toning on the right side of the L in LIBERTY is the only significant mark. Just the lightest touch of rub on the highest points from mint state. M-LDS, Manley state 4.0. Both dies are heavily worn and most of the dentils are gone. The die crack through the I in UNITED is clear. Our grade is AU58. The attribution and Carvin Goodridge provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; the finest of the variety graded (#35206).
