<B>1808 50C MS65 NGC.</B></I> O-102a, R.2. The die cracks on the obverse and reverse of this piece are interesting to contemplate. This is a late die state as usual for the marriage. Both sides are nicely detailed and fully lustrous with brilliant silver surfaces. The obverse is ringed with sea-green, cobalt-blue, and lilac toning, while the reverse is limited to pale green and gold. The obverse has a bisecting vertical crack (actually two cracks that join in the hair) and other cracks.
