<B>(1808-1839)<1C> Large Cent--Full First Strike Reverse Brockage--VF30 PCGS.</B></I> Ex: Harrison Phillips Collection. A cent (not this piece) stuck to the obverse die after its strike, and a newly fed planchet (this piece) was struck between the reverse die and the obverse die cap. The brockage is nearly perfect, since only the CE in CENT is faintly recessed. This medium brown piece has minor verdigris and a few light pinscratches inside the reverse wreath. Attributing the exact Sheldon or Newcomb variety would be the ultimate challenge for the Large Cent specialist.
