<B>1807 $5 Bust Left AU53 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6453, BD-8, R.2. This well struck piece features rich apricot toning and is free from mentionable marks. The shield lines are lightly clashed near Liberty's ear. 1807 was the first year of the John Reich's Capped Bust Left motif, and the portrait is similar to that introduced on the half dollar the same year. Karl Stecher, Sr. purchased this piece from the Guttag Bros. of New York during the 1930s.
