<B>1807 50C Large Stars, 50 Over 20 AU50 PCGS.</B></I> O-112, R.1. In 1807 the Mint switched from the Draped Bust, Heraldic Eagle type to the Capped Bust, Lettered Edge style, also called the Turban Head half dollars. This very scarce variety shows the beginnings of the diagnostic die crack joining 80 in the date, and only the top of the 2 underdenomination is visible beneath the 5 on the reverse. Light rub shows on Liberty's cheek and the eagle's highpoints, but much luster remains.
