<B>1807 50C Bearded Goddess AU55 NGC.</B></I> Large Stars, 50/20. O-111b, R.5. Breen-4595. Toned deep gray with traces of luster in the devices. This is a later die state with the full beard on Liberty with the die crack extending up through her eye, curl and the I of LIBERTY. Another die crack extends through the stars on the left. There are two scratches on the obverse, one slides down neck then jumps to her bust and the rim below, which is crossed by another scratch on her neck. A curious inexplicable low area starts below her temple and extends into the curls on Liberty's neck, presumably a post-minting incursion. The reverse has splashes of blue mixed into the devices.
