<B>1807 $5 Bust Left MS62 PCGS.</B></I> B. 5-D, Breen-6453, BD-8, R.2. This is the common 1807 Bust Left variety and one of the commonest of all early half eagle varieties. Mint State examples are seen with frequency, although usually at the lowest grade levels. This example is a splendid green-gold piece with full, unbroken mint luster. The fields are lightly reflective with frosty devices, and enticing cameo contrast. This is the first year of issue for the John Reich Capped Bust design, struck only from 1807 to 1812.
