<B>1807 $5 Bust Left MS61 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6453, BD-8, R.2. This die pairing is easily distinguished by the lone 1807 Capped Bust Left obverse being combined with a reverse where the arrow feathers are directly over the left and right sides of the top of the 5. The other marriage has the 5 positioned lower and further to the right. Despite the fact that production was shared with the Capped Bust Right type in this transitional year, 51,605 pieces were struck of John Reich's new design and survivors of the BD-8 are among the most plentiful in the series. Although bright, frosty, and very well struck, this yellow-gold example is kept within the lower reaches of Mint State by a number of scuffy abrasions in the fields.
