1807 25C AU58 PCGS. B-1, R.3. Die State IV, as usually seen. This is the common 1807 quarter dollar variety. The reverse of this variety has just four berries, an instant attribution feature. Browning-2 quarter dollars have five berries in the branch and are slightly scarcer. It seems odd that these varieties are not given separate listings in the Guide Book as are some other similar varieties. For example, 1805 dimes are listed as 4 Berries and 5 Berries varieties. Early silver dollars include a listing for 1798 4 Berries coins. This piece is a pleasing and lustrous near-Mint example with pale gold and brownish lilac color on both sides. It is sharply struck with only a few minor blemishes.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
